Experience the fresh air and incredible scenery of alpine trekking through Gran Paradiso, one of Italy’s most beautiful national parks. You’ll ascend the only 4000 meter (13,125 feet) peak entirely within Italian territory, led by internationally certified guides (UIAGM/IFMGA) who are also members of the Aosta Valley High Mountain Guide Society. The trek is close to Aosta city within the lateral Valsavarenche valley, offering views of Mt. Blanc, Mt. Rosa and the Matterhorn. With the help of your guide’s practiced eye, you may see elusive wildlife from small forest creatures to mountain ibexes as you enjoy the solitude, green meadows and verdant sun-dappled forest.
