Skyway Monte Bianco – a Panoramic Cable Car on the roof of Europe

A fabulous view any time of year – and a cool retreat in the summer

Experience an incredible 360° panorama of the Alps from a comfortable rotating cable car. Proceed from Courmayeur to Punta Helbronner (3466 m), the nearest point to Mont Blanc. At the midway terminal, Pavillon du Mont Fréty (2173 m), you can have lunch, visit the Crystal Room and the Saussurea Alpine Botanic Garden, surrounded by the magnificent Mont Blanc massif. Later, with reservations made at least one week in advance, tour the cellars of the Cave Mont Blanc de Morgex et la Salle winery, producing some of the highest altitude still and sparkling white wines in Europe. Vineyard tours upon request, weather permitting.
